Put other (but similar) ways, in a system-driven world “human responsibility evaporates” and instead we defer action, choice, and reasoning to the tenants or maxims of the system itself – a world full of belief systems, law systems, familial piety systems, and so on expect us to interact with other people and the natural world accordingly, provide rigid rules and frameworks that govern our actions. With specific evidence from Remembering Babylon (and perhaps an inclusion of more of the claims by Bliss, as evidence), what are the dangers of responsibility evaporating in such a way?
